Aly Star
Spinning stardust, shadows, and a little spite into stories where magic bites back.
📍 United States
A lifelong book lover turned author, Aly Star weaves tales of magic, monsters, complicated characters, and worlds where the shadows hold secrets. Southern-born and spitefully fueled, she has a soft spot for dragons, strange creatures, and stories that refuse to follow the rules.
When she isn't dreaming up new worlds, Aly is a proud single mom, devoted Book Dragon, and creative soul balancing family life with an ever-growing hoard of ideas. She believes in strong characters, messy emotions, unexpected twists, and a little magic in the darkness.
Fueled by spite, imagination, and magic, Aly writes stories for readers who love the strange, the fantastical, and the beautifully unconventional. After all, the best adventures often begin where reason ends.
