William Tenys has returned from his vacation in Moonbrooke just a little bit different. He managed to stop two families from going to war and even managed to regain some purpose in life. However, he also has a new set of skills to help him solve cases on the streets of Altria, that is, if he can control himself under the light of the moon. Unfortunately, it seems that his control isn't as good as he was hoping, nor is his memory. Bodies are piling up in the alleys of the city and he suspects that he's being hired by his clients to investigate a murderer who will ultimately turn out to be himself. Compounding this is the arrival of an old face from the past who might be the only one who can change him back to a human. Unfortunately, the method by which this can be done may mean spilling blood.
