Fatal Fitting
A Lethal Obsession Story
Danielle FearWelcome to Lethal Obsession, a multi-author collection pulse-pounding thriller series where obsession turns deadly and secrets refuse to stay buried. Each story dives into the dark side of obsession—where admiration blurs into control, trust becomes a weapon, and one wrong choice can cost everything. With relentless suspense, shocking twists, and high-stakes danger, Lethal Obsession proves that some fixations are impossible to escape—and even harder to survive.
Iris is exactly what every employer wants, reliable, friendly, and invisible.
Working in a quiet lingerie shop tucked inside a fading shopping mall, she has spent months earning trust, learning routines, and watching people more closely than they realise. Because Iris isn't just selling confidence. She's studying it.
When women start going missing, no one connects the dots. Not at first. After all, the mall is full of strangers passing through. Faces that blur and lives that don't linger.
But Iris isn't the only one paying attention. Across the corridor, Eiralynne has been watching too. And she's been waiting.
As suspicion tightens and past secrets begin to surface, Iris finds herself caught in a web she never saw forming, one that leads back further than she ever imagined… and closer to home than she's ready to face.
Because some patterns don't disappear. They evolve.
And sometimes, the most dangerous thing in the room… is the person who understands you.

I’ll definitely be reading more books by this author.

Iris is calm, helpful but forgettable which, as it turns out, is exactly the problem. However the way she watches people is where the real tension lives, and it builds so gradually you don’t even realize how uneasy it’s gotten until it’s too late.
Then there’s Eiralynne, watching right back, and suddenly it feels like everyone is in on something except you. The story plays out like a silent standoff, full of small moments that feel way bigger than they should.
And listen… I will not be trying on clothes in any department store in the near future. Not happening. I don’t need that kind of stress while holding a pair of jeans, lingerie or even a hat for that matter.
Also, Danielle Fear, I mean this respectfully, but I’m going to need to know your whereabouts when people start going missing. These details? A little too vivid. I’m not saying anything, I’m just keeping my eye on you.
This was creepy, smart, and quietly unsettling in a way that sticks with you. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this author, from a safe distance… in a well-lit room… not trying on clothes. 👀
