DI Matthew Goodwin, with the Surrey Police, finds himself on his way to Thailand. It's paramount he repairs his relationship with his daughter, Alison, after he shut down a year ago on his wife's death. Unknown to him a killer has accompanied him, intent on revenge.Arriving on the island of Koh Pha Ngan, Goodwin finds that Alison disappeared two days ago. Dave Lewis, Alison's boyfriend, refuses to give details of the argument they had just before she disappeared and Goodwin's suspicions intensify with Dave's seemingly close relationship with another girl.What was to have been a well-deserved holiday, combined with a happy reunion with his daughter, becomes a nightmare when a girl's body is found in the jungle on the island and Goodwin has to deal with the corrupt Thai Police.Time is running out for Goodwin as he pieces things together and makes a desperate attempt to prevent further blood shed among twelve thousand revellers at the island's infamous Full Moon Party.
