Cosplay kills

Hinata is a 22-year-old rookie police officer who dreams of becoming a detective. When her hometown, New Pine Town (a fictional city in the United States), is plagued by a serial killer, it's her job to catch the culprit. Her dream of becoming a cosplayer herself, something she was previously too timid and shy to do, is about to come true, as she gets the chance to work as an undercover agent in the cosplay world.

While undercover, she meets a group of cosplayers, which she befriends, and together they become involved in the world of cosplay, signing up for events and participating in costume contests. While her social life begins to blossom as she meets more and more people from the world she dreamed of, her investigation starts going downhill. The clues that seemed logical before, no longer are. The bodies are piling up and it’s starting to look like someone close to her is the killer. In order to save her new friends, Hinata even risks her own well-being, and everything takes a turn for the worse when she receives a package from the killer on her doorstep…

Will Hinata be able to save them all and find out the identity of the cosplay killer before one or more of her friends become his next victims?

About the Author

Ivan De Zan
My bio is not that interesting.

I was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1986.

Always liked writing.

Went to college, didn't finish it.

Got married, had three kids.

Had something I wanted to write, so I did.

I don't have fancy titles, I'm not a professor. I'm not a former student of a well known person. I just have imagination of a different kind of world we're living in. I like to challenge my mind with „What if...” scenarios, so all my characters have both darkness and light in them. This world has taught me that doing good is not always the right thing to do. In my life there has been a lot of good and bad. A lot of emotions I have poured into my characters, hoping to deliver at least a fragment of empathy to my readers. Even though these are fiction novels, a lot of my soul has been divided into all of my characters. The loneliness, the awkwardness, the friendship and love, fear and anger, the striving for righteousness are just some of the emotions that I honored in my novels.
