Visous Ruin is an odd little story, with unique narration. Told entirely without dialogue, it's the story of several generations of women running a bed and breakfast while keeping silent about their dark secrets. With an unexpected observer, you will either love or loathe this tale about the spreading of anger.

I absolutely loved the different narration throughout the book and how it keeps you guessing to who is the one telling the story! It follows different generations of women that own a bed and breakfast that holds many secrets inside. Great story and definitely need more to the story its that attention grabbing!

Tick tock. That is all that I would ever manage to say. You won’t see me, but I see you. I see everything.
That is how the narrator in this short story feels as it was written in the third person POV. It’s a little weird but empowering on how the women in the family shared the love of getting rid of the “dirt” in this world. I loved how their different styles in “cleaning up” was shown in those few short chapters and how the men in their lives supported them for it. A little late to promote this but THIS SHORT STORY is the kind of Women’s Month empowering entry that I wanted.

I need this made into a mini series or short film! This author did such a wonderful job in giving an unexpected point of view & with great detail. This tale gives such a wonderful balance of horror & family values. That may sound odd but will make sense after you read it!

I love these short stories it really gives a glimpse of the work of multiple authors you may not be familiar with, HOWEVER, I AM familiar with M. A. Green and this was no exception to the rest of her amazing stories.
You’re trapped in a house and see all the things going on, but don’t really know what fully going on. Make sense? Probably not, but I don’t want to give away too much of the story with it being a short one. So, I guess in order to find out, you will have to read the story and find out; BUT, I do want to tell you that you don’t want to miss this one or any of the others in the collection because the ones I have read thus far are so good!

“Viscous Ruin” by M. A. Green is a gripping addition to the Deadly Silence Thriller Short Story collection. This quick read dives into a generation of women bound by dark secrets, told from a very different, unique perspective. Sharp, intense, and thought-provoking, I loved it!

Mouthy M.A. has outdone herself again! A story about generations of women told by a silent bystander that you doesn't have a voice you can hear. The best kept secrets are always those in silent moment. Twisty, dark, and actually a little tame for M.A but done to perfection! Available March 31st as part of the A Deadly Silence Thriller collection.

Vicious Ruin is quietly magnetic—no dialogue, no excuses, just tension that seeps under your skin. It’s clever, unsettling, and fiercely memorable.

M.A. Green does it again! This was so very out there! I had no idea who the person was until the end of the book and the clues were right in my face! Loved it!
