To me this was an on the edge of your seat thriller. When I was reading it I didn’t want to stop and had to know what was going to happen next. Seeing how everything played out was so wild. Was my first book by this author but definitely won’t be my last

ARC Review
Breaking Bianca by Sara Ennis
First things first: thank you for this ARC. Truly.
Second: wow. What a ride. Betrayal, survival, murder, guilt—basically a greatest-hits album of human bad decisions.
This book hooked me fast. First page in and I was already leaning forward like, okay, what are we doing here? The pace is fairly quick, but somewhere along the way I got a little lost. Occasionally confused. At moments I felt like I’d missed a memo. But—and this matters—by the end, I realized that was intentional. The confusion isn’t a flaw; it’s part of the experience. You’re not meant to feel steady. Neither is Bianca.
My inner detective had a pretty good idea who was behind most of it. That wasn’t the mystery for me. The real question—the one that actually matters—is why. And that “why” is exactly what makes this story worth reading. The psychological angle is where this book shines. It quietly asks: how far would you go to prove a theory? And then it answers that question in ways that are deeply uncomfortable.
Some characters go so far past what my brain considers reasonable that I had to pause and just sit with it. And even though this is fiction, there’s that unsettling moment where you realize… yeah. This could absolutely be real. Somewhere. With someone. And that’s the part that lingers.
Four betrayed stars.
Not because this book is bad—far from it. Simply because I’ve read stories that hurt my brain a little more and reached a bit deeper into my soul. This one didn’t destroy me… but it did bruise.
A dark story about betrayal, guilt, transformation, and survival. Not a book to forget. Definitely one that deserves a spot on any psychological thriller TBR—especially if you like your stories messy, morally gray, and quietly disturbing.
Read it for the why. That’s where the real damage is done.
