My first read by Sara Ennis. Not realising it was part of a series, I found it worked perfectly as a standalone. I enjoyed the writing style and was gripped by the beginning and the ending, although I thought it slowed a little in the middle. Then came the twist, and I couldn't put it down. I look forward to reading more from Sara in the future. 4.5 rounded up.
