Writhe: Wellard Asylum Series
They call it therapy. I call it torment.
The Doctor says I’m sick, that the nightmares in my head must be untangled with his help. He’s the one who introduced me to Theo, my protector, my tormentor, my everything. Together, they pushed me past my limits, shattering every boundary I thought I had. But something feels wrong.
In this asylum, there’s no escape—from the pain, the desire, or the madness. And when the truth comes to light, I’ll either break completely…or burn it all down.
This book has dark themes with a heavy dose of mental health representation. It also will depict MM, MF, and MFM scenes. Please check the contents in the beginning in the book before reading.

Holy crap! what a way to start this series of standalones.
Writhe is darkly sinister, deeply unhinged and god damn, the twist and that ending was EVERYTHING!
This book is DARK... READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS FIRST, DO NOT GO INTO THIS BLINDLY!
Centred around our FMC, Eliza, who was admitted to Wellard after poisoning her fiancé and his entire family. She doesn't want to be compliant but she wants to remain in there instead of being well enough to face a trial and prison.
The Doctor, a cruel individual with very sadistic tendencies is the one trying to 'fix' her by way of submission and obedience.
Then there is Theo, another patient who just wants to do as he's told, remain in the shadows and behave.
Theo and Eliza's paths intertwine when the Doctor uses them to rebuild each other and the story only gets more dark and twisted from here. I wont give it away, because if you are into dark, fucked up, erotic psychological thrillers, you need to read this!
There is plenty of spice but as I said, it is dark and messed up and morally black. (It is damn good though if like me you have no triggers and clearly enjoy the deeply unhinged)
I cannot wait to read the other books in the series, the list of authors included in this project had me salivating to be honest.
Fantastic, loved it, need more, KT Maddan - you almost got me, almost! Thank you for writing this.
