First off, I'm very thankful to be a part of Patterson's street team. I really loved his packaging and reveal for this book.
"Holmes, Marple, and Poe" by James Patterson and Brian Sitts is a thrilling novel that introduces readers to the enigmatic world of Private Investigators, Holmes, Marple & Poe.
The story revolves around three PIs who possess not only famous names (which when people meet them they ask if that's their real names) but also mysterious and untraceable pasts. These intriguing characters, with their intelligence, style, and allure, form an agency that quickly gains attention for their daring methodology and headline-making solves.
One of the book's greatest strengths lies in its well-developed characters. Each investigator possesses their own distinct personality and strengths. The dynamics between the investigators are well portrayed, with a perfect balance of camaraderie, and mystery.
The plot is intricately crafted, with different crimes happening at once and numerous twists and turns that keep readers guessing until the very end. Patterson and Sitts' ability to maintain a steady pace and seamlessly blend elements of mystery, suspense, and even a touch of romance is noteworthy. The story is filled with unexpected surprises and revelations, ensuring that readers will be thoroughly engaged from start to finish.
I really found this book fun and enjoyable and really hope this is a beginning of a series as I really loved the characters in this story. I also really liked how this book was fast paced and that it had short chapters, I had a hard time putting it down!
