Three generations with a common thread linking the women. Etta, Cecilia, and Blythe reach starkly to reconcile with the demons on tv the past. One day, Blythe’s happy home life comes crashing down and her life is changed forever. In the end, can any of us escape the ghosts of the past?

I found this to be a very intriguing read. The first half of the book spent a lot of time building the characters and letting us get to know them. The second half had us riding along while the women fight against their pasts and the tragedies that come with them.

This book kept slipping me by for a long time. Wow. What an emotional rollercoaster. Written very well and kept me enthralled. The last line gave me the shivers. Highly recommend.
