Well… open the tents, I guess. 😅🎪

This was one hell of a dark, twisted carnival ride. The atmosphere alone pulled me in—the Carnivale feels eerie, unsettling, and completely unpredictable, and Dario Alcazar is exactly the kind of character you love to hate. He’s creepy, manipulative, powerful, and absolutely convinced that everything and everyone exists for his entertainment.

There was something about the whole Carnivale and its strange little world that kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next. The story has that perfect sense of “something is very, very wrong here,” and the deeper I got, the more chaotic things became.

I definitely had moments where I was sitting there thinking, what the actual hell am I reading? 😂 But in the best possible way. It’s dark, bizarre, atmospheric, and definitely not your typical carnival story.

A solid 4 stars for me! If you like dark fantasy, twisted characters, creepy carnival settings, and stories that take you somewhere completely unhinged, this one is worth stepping into the tent for. 🎪🖤

Just… maybe don’t expect to find your way back out. 😉
