🪩 It’s New Year’s Eve and Morgan arrives at a party in a bit of a state (to put it mildly). She is being chased and needs to find a place to hide quickly. As the party rages on, a kind stranger offers to help. However, not everything is as straightforward as it seems.
When the ball drops, so does a body.
This story punches you right in the throat and pins you down until the ending knocks the wind right out of you. The writing is sharp and the characters feel like they could jump off the page at any time.

Amy Tackett definitely knows how to write a great story! I loved this short story and highly recommend it (especially for those Goodreads book goals)!
