Project Hail Mary

I waited WAY TOO LONG to read this book!

I think this may end up as one of my faves for the year, it was funny, science-y, sweet, tense... I'm not sure what more I could ask for from this.

I know not everyone will/does like all the science talked about all the time, but as a physics & astronomy nerd, this was perfect. Another thing to make me wish I was smarter, but following along with what I could was really fun. Having Grace be a teacher really helped, it set the tone for the character to be able to explain things easily and made him so interesting to 'listen' to.

I did not expect there to be twists i this book and was pleasantly (aka devastated) surprised when they came and was flipping pages fast to see how Grace and Rocky could get things fixed. I also did not see that ending coming and think it was a super fun way to tie up all the ends while still offering something fresh.

Also, if Rocky isn't on your "hear me out" list, what are you thinking?! Hes a sweet, very intelligent little five-legged dude. He can make just about anything and is so eager to learn new things. I love Rocky!
