Murder in the Shade of Crimson

In the midst of coping with a separation from her husband, life for art instructor Ireland Matthews is altered to an even lower low when her sister, Faye, is murdered. After finding a troubling letter from Faye days after the crime, Ireland is left pondering two things: What had Faye been involved in before she died, and had she known her life was in danger? Before long, Ireland crosses paths with a masked man named Gar who feels the police are not doing everything possible to solve her sister's case. A former colleague of Faye's, Gar is on a personal crusade seeking answers as to why she was killed.
