This Is For Jazz A Story of Love, Betrayal, and Violent Revenge

CONTENT WARNING: This book contains scenes depicting extreme violence.

The things people will do for the ones they love is an admirable quality, but when the person you love the most has been wronged in the worst of ways, it's sometimes shocking to see the lengths someone will go to in order to attempt to right those wrongs.

High school should be about living life to the fullest-making friends, having relationships, and attending parties. This is the norm for Connor and Jazz, an upperclassmen couple at Larson High School in west Tennessee. The two of them were the happiest of couples until recent events shattered their world and turned them down a dark path.

When it became clear that local law enforcement wasn't going to do anything to punish those responsible for what happened, the two vengeful teenagers decide to take matters into their own hands. Along their journey, the murderous couple uncover shocking details that reveal why Jazz became the target of such a heinous and unforgivable crime.

Zach's debut release is extremely dark and deep. The length one will go for the love of their life truly has no limits in this book. The brutal detail is dark and not for the faint of heart. This is primarily told from Connors point of view and you can feel his rage and desire for revenge. The alternative ending was fantastic. I can't tell you which one I like more they both were perfect and provided a satisfying end either which way!. I will be following this author. I have no doubt he will provide some more awesome books in the future.
4 stars because: There are areas that seem wordy and over explained. It could have been broken up into more chapters and much of the chatter could be more internal thoughts. The chapters are longer than I personally like but I would still recommend This Is For Jazz to the right crowd.
