Kore

As a non-believer in a town ruled by believers,

Kore has fought to follow the rules, to stay

hidden in the shadows, to be a rose in a simple

garden, but all her attempts at living a simple

quiet life are turned upside down when the night

of the sacrifice, the night of Hades, leads her to

the Underworld and making a deal with the

King of the dead himself.

Faced with betrayal, curses, and romances,

twisted in the web of prophecies, Kore must

not only find a way to survive this new land

and play Hades games, but learn to become

the very thing she never believed in, a

Goddess.

Dora

As a believer and training priestess,

worshipping the Gods has always come easy to

Dora, and so has keeping secrets-like what

really happened five years ago. But on the

night of Hades, Dora's hidden abilities cause

the annual sacrifice to go awry and Kore to

disappear. To save her friend, Dora must

befriend an unlikely God who will also do

whatever it takes to find Kore, but Dora's

abilities have shown her that this God

shouldn't be completely trusted. Finding her

life intertwined in the game of Gods to save

her friend, Dora must not only outrun death

and capture at every turn, but face temptations

and truths that shatter her reality, Gods are

cruel.
