Your best friend is getting married? What an amazing special occasion that is until it’s not.

Bianca’s a single mom to a young teenager with a very close best friend Nicole who’s been her best friend since college when they were roommates. We start off with learning some about each character and the lead up to the wedding.

Wedding bells are a ringing. Until the wedding turns into a crime scene during the reception. Where Nicole’s now husband Chad’s step father is murdered.

As the investigation progresses we meet Detective Simms in more detail and my is he sweet. Bianca can’t help herself but to try and help solve the murder because her best friend Nicole is so far the number 1 suspect. Due to this Bianca ends up being threatened over text, followed during a run in the park, and followed while driving not once but twice.

Detective Simms & Bianca are getting closer little by little while the investigation is going on due to Bianca not wanting to give up. Soon more and more people are being affected and Bianca just doesn’t seem to be having that.

All the while she is also trying to co-parent cross country with her ex-husband Malcom by setting up a summer stay with their daughter in California for the summer with his new wife Hope.

For me it would of had a better rating if some of the character development was better, and a few times it just really seemed like Bianca needed to just back the heck off trying to solve the murder. While I do understand where she was coming from due to what happened with her own dad, but a couple of times it just made things messy and I didn’t really care for that.
