A Psychological Suspense Thriller
A gripping stalker thriller that will give you chills. For fans of Caroline Kepnes and Dean Koontz.
As soon as Laura closes her front door, there is no going back to her old life. She’s determined to leave behind the catty office, the inattentive bosses, and most importantly, her menacing stalker, Jared.
He’s become obsessed. Flirting, turning up at her favorite coffee place, sending her dozens and dozens of texts, emails, photos… He won’t take no for an answer. No one believes her, let alone offers to help, so Laura has to take things into her own hands.
Studying is her thing, and she’s done her research; new phone, new name, new job. She has it all worked out to escape Jared’s increasingly threatening advances. The life she’s dreamed of is within reach. She just has to make it out of town. But her route through the woods may be just as dangerous as the man tracking her.
Can she make it to freedom, or will Jared catch up with her right when she’s most vulnerable?
Follow Laura in this cat-and-mouse game that Jared has her trapped in and find out if her inner strength can outweigh his obsession.

This book was really good! I thoroughly enjoyed it! The edge of your seat action and the eerieness from being stalked to being lost in the woods had me having all the feels with Laura. I absolutely recommend this book. Well done!
Who doesn't like a good stalker story and Jared was good at it. Jared was very creepy, he was so obsessed with Laura. He was on the verge of becoming aggressive towards her. Laura was pretty strong at the beginning cause I would've been scared to death of him. When Laura finally gets tired of him, she decides to fake her own death. Not only because of him but he had a large part in it. She just wanted a new life. When she takes off, and starts on her way through a trail in the forest, I was on the edge of my seat, hoping she made it out alive. After all she did to get to this point, that would suck if that's how she died. So many things that could happen at the end: Does she Laura die and not get a new start, does Jared find her, or does Laura get to start her new life. Grab a copy and find out!

This story had a great beginning and ending. The middle felt a little drawn out, but it was still a good read. And I loved the closure the main character got in the end.
