A nice clean Christian romance, it is a quick listen at just over 3 hours in length.
Brie’s friend Ariel offers a bet, if Brie gets someone to fall in love and propose to her, then she will get a date with Ariel’s famous movie star brother...the bet is on!
Now Brie is a billionaire’s daughter, she has lived off her father all of life, and her lifestyle is what you would expect, partying, shopping etc without a care in the world. Until her father cuts her off, tells her to get a job and be more responsible. Her world has changed a lot and when she sets her sights on Jesse a member of the SWAT team, to fulfil her bet she bits off more than she bargains for and starts falling for him. What is she going to do about the bet?
The love story is so sweet, I didn’t like Brie to start with but I did warm up to her. Jesse, on the other hand, was everything you could want in a man.
It was written so beautifully and was narrated perfectly, I felt like I was in the moment listening to this.
