I rated Carving Graves five stars without hesitation. It is the second book in the KORT series, and it only gets better. I could not put it down. Brandy Hynes blends dark romance and high stakes so well. Celeste and Liam feel real. She is fierce yet vulnerable. He is tough yet tortured. Plus, the world-building of the KORT secret society adds depth and suspense. Also the twists kept me guessing. Finally, the steam hits just the right note.
