Climb the Ladder

I'm a big fan of Ashley's writing style, so when she mentioned writing a romance novel, I said sign me up! I was so intrigued by the genre shift and impressed as Ashley did a phenomenal job with this book. I'm not usually a romance novel reader, but Ashley hit it out of the park! I feel it's more of a rom-com for those on the fence about reading a romance novel. I absolutely loved the characters (well except for a chosen few, cough cough, James), especially the growth of Blythe throughout the book and I can't forget Charlie, also. Ashley is a great storyteller. Her description of the little sleepy town of Wippowa, GA was able to transport me there. I could picture this quaint town and the stores and the beauty of the area. The locals were a hoot, along with Wren. Ashley is the kind of writer that no matter what genre she decides to write will make it a fantastic book.
