Tahoe Trauma A Roger and Suzanne Mystery

Tahoe Trauma A Roger and Suzanne Mystery

Roger takes a peculiar case from a new client, a lawyer with an odd story. Before long he's investigating a murder committed on a ski slope in California near Lake Tahoe. The killing may be linked to another case he's investigating on behalf of another new client, a shady mobster from Los Angeles. Shasta Weber, who we first met in "A Train to Nowhere" and is now a detective in Roger's agency, goes undercover to work for the mob while she looks for a vital clue. Meanwhile, Roger gets into trouble with some Nevada casino enforcers, one of whom tries to kill him. From the lush forests, well-groomed ski slopes, and scenic grandeur of the Tahoe wilderness to the glitzy casinos of Reno and the sumptuous excesses of the Hollywood party scene, Roger and his colleagues follow a twisted trail of treachery to a killer who just might have committed the perfect murder.

About the Author

Jerold Last
Jerry writes fast-paced mystery books (tough and sometimes violent thrillers that follow the cozy conventions of no graphic sex and no bad words), all published on Amazon Kindle. He and his wife Elaine lived previously in Salta, Argentina and Montevideo, Uruguay, which provide the settings for several of the earlier Roger and Suzanne mysteries. Jerry selects the most interesting places, including the recent novels, that he has lived in or visited for Roger and Suzanne to solve miscellaneous murders. He and Elaine also breed prize-winning German shorthaired pointer dogs.
