The Trouble with Christmas (True Hearts Series)

I love the insight on the characters in the beginning so you know what is important ahead of time. I completely felt the struggle to get into the Christmas season joy. It’s so cute and funny. The way Rayanne and Caleb’s relationship is with each other is like the perfect grandma and grandpa arguing. This is wonderful listening to it through speechify. I think it is so well written and an amazing Christmas book that isn’t exactly typical. I give it 4 stars. I wasn’t fully hooked but also didn’t think it was bad at all. I loved all the details that are just perfect toppers to the whole book. This aspect is actually possible in reality, not just in a fictional world. The fight we suffer from internally is so strong and is so hard to deal with. The decisions that have to be made because it affects so much when we have feelings that are so strong. The spice is a 2.5. It is detailed but not detailed in the bedroom, just physical touches. The biggest issue I had is the wording in some locations. That might have been where it was being read to me, but I feel like it could have had a few improvements but nothing that affects the story.
