Finding Marianne A Journey of Self-discovery, Romance and a Wee Bit of Magic

Finding Marianne: A magical feel-good romance set in Scotland

A marriage that's fallen apart, friends who've drifted away, and a job she doesn't love... Marianne has realised she wants a fresh start in life.

Determined to heal, work out what she wants and find herself, she sets off on a road trip. She's always felt called to go to Scotland, the homeland of her Grandmother.

The only thing she knows for sure is: She's never falling in love again.

When she meets Finn, she's determined they'll only be friends, or a fun fling, at best. Their worlds are too different, and they want different things.

The universe, however, has different plans...

Back in 1960, Nora, Marianne's grandmother, has grown up on a Highland farm. When she falls in love with handsome Tom, she leaves all she knows behind to go and live in England.

Discover the story of two generations of women, with a whole lot of romance and a wee bit of magic...

Wow! Such a phenomenal story! Talk about an emotional rollercoaster. This book had me laughing and crying and yes sometimes at the same time lol.

Finding Marianne is a captivating story that intertwines love, self-discovery, and a touch of enchantment against the breathtaking backdrop of Scotland. This feel-good story invites readers to embark on a journey through time and across generations.

Marianne, our resilient MC, stands at a crossroads in life. Her marriage has crumbled, friendships have faded, and her job lacks passion. Seeking solace and renewal, she sets off on a soul-searching road trip to Scotland—the homeland of her grandmother, Nora.

As the story unfolds, we witness the parallel lives of Marianne and Nora. Their shared bloodline binds them, and destiny dances between the pages. I loved the various storylines that alternated between Nora, and Marianne. Romance blooms, secrets unravel, and a touch of magic graces both of their journies.

Sarah Louise Smith, paints vivid landscapes with her words. Scotland comes alive—the mist-shrouded glens, rugged coastline, and ancient castles. I was able to picture Scotland in my mind, so much so it made me feel like I was there!

In a world where uncertainty often overshadows hope, Finding Marianne reminds us that love transcends time and that magic exists for those who dare to believe. I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful story—a blend of heartache, humor, and Highland mystique.
