This was a great psychological thriller which I would characterize as also an emotional thriller filled with family drama, jealousy and family secrets. I enjoyed the easy, interesting, relatable characters as well as the layers of deception that the author created throughout the book. The book is told through multiple points of view which is easy to follow along and which gives the reader a full picture of what each of the characters is feeling. The flow of the book is slow at first but picks up during the middle and by the end, I could not put the book down. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the follow-up books! I received a free copy of this book and I’m leaving my review voluntarily.

A wild and disturbing novel that deals with many different things. You cannot make judgements until you finish this novel. Deals with many different aspects of psychology without boring you.
When you find out who is related to who you wonder if the meeting at the bar was planned or just a coincidence.
Could not put this down until the last page where you then wonder if there is going to be a sequel.

R.M. Demeester does a great job blending mystery and emotion in The Girl Once Known. This book isn’t just about solving a crime—it’s about healing, facing the past, and discovering who you really are. A great pick for fans of emotional thrillers and psychological drama.

Thanks to StoryOrigin and R.M. Demeester for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a domestic thriller from different character POVs. Normally domestic thrillers are not my jam, but this one kept me up late into the night and had me reading the moment I woke up.

The drama is REAL, like real REAL! The twists are great and the characters have true character and are each interesting in their own way.

This book ended with me wanting more.

A great read that I highly recommend giving a try!
