A Tale of Bears and Ravens

This wasn’t Sam’s first journey out of Windsor. As the Princess of Windsor, she has traveled many times to assist her father. With each assignment, she becomes more and more of a target with the success of her negotiations. She had grown accustomed to threats and doesn’t scare easy. But with rival forces gathering along the border close to her route, her father doesn’t take any chances. He sends his guards to accompany her including Captain George, his right-hand man, and Sergeant Will, the youngest and newest member.

Upon reaching their destination, Sam has an encounter with her rival, Vladimir the Prince of Sussex and tyrant to those left in his charge. This not so chance meeting sets in motion a series of events that lead to heavy losses and a dangerous journey home. Will, assigned as her bodyguard, tries to keep her safe as best he can.
