To Hunt Wraiths

What happens when we die? I know it’s not usually something I personally ponder often, but through the eyes of Derek Lander we go on a wild ride of discovery that will take some crazy turns to try to answer this very question (and a few others).

After a car accident with his girlfriend, Derek finds himself in middle of a mission to return to the living world and to rid it of demons known as “wraiths.” Wraiths serve one purpose and Derek has been tasked to stop them for good. Easier said than done.

The author creates a complex storyline that often had me pondering some deep thoughts like existence and balance in the world. The characters are intriguing and the main character goes on a journey that will see him travel to some very far out places as part of his quest. I felt like I was there with him!

I admit at first I did wonder what I had gotten myself into it, but with every page turn I got deeper into the story and connected with characters. Definitely a unique read that I am glad I took a chance on. The ending ties it all together and really solidifies the whole book together nicely.
