Okay... this one was dark. Like, really dark.
"Oddity Carnival" is less a story and more a descent into madness wrapped in blood, lust, and circus lights. The writing is vivid and unsettling, pulling you straight into the chaos of the carnival—and into Hellion's twisted orbit.
There's definitely a lot of intensity here: obsession, pain, and that constant question of who's really in control. I'll give it credit-the atmosphere was eerie and hypnotic, and the author clearly didn't hold back. But at times, the shock value overshadowed the story itself.
Some scenes felt more disturbing than purposeful, and I caught myselt needing a breather more than once.
If you're into extreme dark romance with a heavy dose of psychological horror and you can handle all the triggers (definitely read the author's note first), this might be your thing.
For me, it was a wild, gritty experience that left me impressed by the writing but emotionally drained by the content.
Dark. Twisted. Disturbingly beautiful-but
not for the faint of heart.
