Mouthful of Birds

This one was super hit or miss for me. And sadly the library needed to back before I got to the last couple stories.

It was not really a surprise, I'm very hit or miss with this author overall. Some stories I love (like the titular Mouthful of Birds, I also enjoyed Butterflies) for their sheer WTFness, others ramble and go nowhere a bit too much for me, sneaking too far into literary territory where it sometimes feels like the writers intent is to make the reader feel dumb.

Overall a 3.5 rounded up for oddness, but not enough draw to snend me back to the library (or online) to get another copy to read the rest.
