Dying for Christmas
A novel full of twists, surprising turns, and suspense, Dying for Christmas is Tammy Cohen's most disturbing psychological thriller yet. Out Christmas shopping one December afternoon, Jessica Gould meets the charming Dominic Lacey and impulsively agrees to go home with him for a drink. What follows are Twelve Days of Christmas from hell, as Lacey holds Jessica captive, forcing her to wear his missing wife’s gowns and eat lavish holiday meals. Each day he gifts her with one item from his twisted past—his dead sister’s favorite toy, disturbing family photos, a box of teeth. As the days pass and the “gifts” become darker and darker, Jessica realizes that Lacey has a plan for her, and he never intends to let her go. But Jessica has a secret of her own . . . a secret that may just mean she has a chance to make it out alive.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dying for Christmas by Tammy Cohen
From page one, I was gone. Like, phone off, blanket up to my nose, snacks scattered around me like evidence at a crime scene—gone. This book sucked me right into its weird, dark, psychological rabbit hole and didn’t let go until the last page slapped me across the face.
It’s one of those stories that makes you sit there and think, wow, the human brain is terrifyingly creative and also deeply unhinged. You start wondering what actually motivates people. What drives us. What line divides “normal” from “call-the-therapist-immediately”? And just when you think you’ve got it figured out—nope. Cohen throws another curveball right at your forehead.
The suspense is delicious. The twists? Perfectly portioned chaos. Honestly, I didn’t see most of them coming—and I always see them coming. So, hats off to Tammy for managing to surprise my cynical little thriller-loving soul.
If you’re into psychological messiness, moral grey zones, and that electric kind of tension that makes you forget your tea went cold two chapters ago—this one’s for you. Buckle up. It’s a ride.
