First Halloween advent book I've seen. It was a great read and hard to stick to the chapter a day. It's got a little supernatural element mixed in it. A little about the book, without giving too much away is that children go missing on Halloween. We follow a family trying to find their missing child. Interesting things happen. Great read!

A fun way to get through to Halloween
On Halloween, 30 children disappeared. A year later, they start to come back 1 at a time. The town is twisted in knots while everyone tries to figure it out. What will happen on the 31st?

This was an interesting idea that started out really well. I haven't read anything like this before and couldn't stick to just one chapter a day. Once I got to around chapter four, things seemed to take a sinister turn, and I was keen for the darkness to keep ramping up to the next level.
Although it's a completely different story, this gives off major Stranger Things vibes and could be classified as Goosebumps for adults. I wish it had been a tad scarier, and the ending fell a bit flat for me. Four stars for originality, and I will check out more from this author.

Loved this book. Read it like an advent calendar a chapter per day through October. Good story, good characters, kept me gripped. Recommend.
