The Silver Cross is obviously vampire orientated however I really liked the story to it. It was different, with one vampire setting another up and Fringe team at the police department that was a hushed up department and a police woman who was ingested vampire blood and now has super senses.
I liked Lacey's character she was ballsy but she has far too many one night stands. Her partners Cole and Jackson were partners who I would like to have if I were in the Fringe team.
Damon Harte is a vampire who wears the Silver Cross which allows him to walk in daylight even though he was turned into a vampire when he was a child and then you have the nasty Nic, also a vampire but doesn't like Damon's rules and wants him gone once and for all.
This is book one in the Vampire Nightlife series and I cannot wait to read more!
