This book sold me on rom-coms (not usually a fan lol). I was giggling throughout the entire read and I couldn't get enough of the shenanigans that Natalia and Mateo get into.

The couple are in the throes of wedding planning, operating a spicy can business, and keeping up "normal" appearances to the outside world when Mateo's parents show up for an extended visit.

I nearly fell off my couch laughing at the interactions and got a little emotional over the familial pressure and anxiety that the couple endures on their way to the alter. I loved the MCs; they each come from a different side of the tracks but have similar upbringings with uptight parents.

Karissa definitely knows how to craft a humorous storyline with fun and relatable characters. If you want a good laugh and love wedding planning hijinks, this is the book for you.
