She's Back
Great short story bringing us back to Janie, from The Perfect Child, and if you haven't read it I highly suggest you do. Great wrap up to a story that technically didn't need one, but when it comes to Lucinda Berry's writing I'd probably even buy and enjoy her shopping list.

This was an entertaining listen but it was pretty straight forward, i kept waiting for a twist on the sociapath-kid-grows-up-and-charms-her-way-out thing, but it didn't really happen. I am also not sure we needed both Hannah and Piper's POV, and sometimes they felt interchangeable in their voice (not literally, I know it was only one narrator) but in that they came across as very similar women with a pretty similar outlook on Janie/Hope.
it doesn't really make me want to go pick up The Perfect Child, which is a bummer for me because I was hoping this could be a good intro to this author. Certainly not a bad story, but it lacked punch for me, especially the ending.
