When you first start reading this book, Mac is called for jury duty never knowing that the jury he is on one of his friends would be a CI who gets uncovered.
From this point, it is a race to save his friend and deal with some people he does not like to save his island and stop any more people from being killed. So many of the characters from the other books are involved that it makes for a great read and lots of guessing whether everyone will survive.
