This book took me on an absolute rollercoaster ride—one I didn’t want to get off. Just when I thought I had the story figured out, the ending completely blindsided me. I was not prepared, and honestly, that shock factor is what made it so unforgettable. Looking back, I can’t believe I didn’t see the clues, but that’s the beauty of the way it was written—layered, suspenseful, and always one step ahead of the reader.
At its core, this is a psychological dark romance, and the author does a fantastic job of balancing twisted tension with emotional depth. It’s not a lighthearted read by any means, and I strongly recommend checking the trigger warnings beforehand, because there are definitely some heavy and potentially disturbing themes woven into the narrative.
The chemistry between the characters is undeniable—intense, magnetic, and at times unsettling—but that’s exactly what makes the story so addictive. The push and pull, the blurred lines between love and obsession, all tie into the psychological edge that keeps you hooked.
Overall, I’d rate this book a solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the plot, pacing, and sheer emotional impact. As for the spice factor, I’d give it a 3.5
