The story itself is cute as we follow Mike (captain of the hockey team) and Brandy (customer service rep at the local store), but the plot moved so fast that I had whiplash. The writing also feels a bit juvenile, given that the characters are in their 40s and sound like teenagers. A quick read with a cute moment of Brandy realizing that she's still desirable despite what her ex-husband claimed.
