Alex Easton does not want to visit America.
They particularly do not want to visit an abandoned coal mine in West Virginia with a reputation for being haunted.

Read Letter D.
I love Easton and their brand of story-telling. Their take on an adventure to America is perfect, though maybe Guam would have been nicer ;)
The sequences of traversing the cave were perfectly claustrophobia inducing (even if Easton is NOT claustrophobic in the slightest) and I loved the strange biology behind Fragment and his wholeness.
Maybe not really horror, but totally a 5 star read.
