This isn't my usual kind of read, but I thought I'd give the audiobook a go, and once I realised it was narrated by Carey Mulligan, I was sold. She was a fantastic choice and brought this story to life perfectly. It was an interesting premise, and I enjoyed the thought-provoking storyline. I will definitely be reading more from Matt Haig!

Nora Seed’s life is going downhill fast. At the darkest moment in her life, she finds herself in a library. Not just any library. This library with its kind librarian will take Nora on a journey that will change her forever. “Because, Nora, sometimes the only way to learn is to live.”

Honestly, this book grabbed me and didn’t let go until the end. It’s definitely not my usual genre, but it was a pleasant surprise. With each page, we join Nora in the midnight library as she samples infinite possibilities. Each book in the library offers Nora something different in the hopes of helping her to find what she’s really looking for.

I absolutely loved this book and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

I loved this book. It certainly makes you think about your own life, the choices you make and the regrets you have but in the end leaves you feeling the life you have is more than enough.
