An audit of the records should not become a murder case, but when the auditor turns up dead in the room he was using for the audit, everyone becomes a suspect.
Trying to figure out motive and when it exactly took place becomes even more of a mystery when there are multiple reasons to not reveal the information that was found.
Even at the end of the book, when the killer is revealed, it still leaves everything hanging and nothing clear as to where things will go next.
Exactly how I like these Lady of the Manor novels to end!!!
