This was a fun, spooky little read from a new‑to‑me author. Charlene Mattson drops you straight into a haunting with a clever twist — a trickster spirit, a stolen doll, and the ripple effect it unleashes in Prince Rupert. For such a short story, it builds tension quickly and keeps you turning the pages.
I enjoyed it, and I’ll definitely be reading more by her.
