I had the absolute privilege of beta reading this story, and wow… I’m still not over it. When I say S.T. Ashman is my favourite author, I’m not just blowing steam, she delivers every single time.
Secrets Like Ours is loosely inspired by a Grimm fairytale. It pulls you into a world filled with characters you need to know, even while you’re side-eyeing every last one of them. Trust no one becomes the unofficial motto.
The pacing? Impeccable. My stomach was in my throat more times than I can count. This book is heartbreaking and wholesome, messy, messed up and absolutely WILD in the best way possible.
It’s intensely suspenseful, deliciously creepy, and packed with twists and turns that border on unhinged.
If you love dark fairytale undertones, top-tier tension, and a story that refuses to let you come up for air, this one is a must-read.
