Eliza

An addictive thriller with complex characters that hooked me from the first page! This was a phenomenal book with intense characters and the writing is delicious and descriptive. The characters of Eliza, Victor and Jake are all deeply layered and deeply flawed which made it exciting to uncover. The author does a fantastic job of delving into these characters throughout the book as we understand more about them and try to figure out their motives. The author intersperses his teasing narrative into the book to let the reader know that we will not figure out what is going on with the plot and he was right! The twists were out of this world and I was completely awed with this book! The story flowed so smoothly and so fast that I couldn’t put it down. The writing was terrific and really drew me in to the book. Since this was the first book I read in the series, I look forward to going back and reading Jake. A 5 star read and I have a new favorite author!
