The Therapist

Alice has just moved into the luxurious gated community in London called the Circle with her boyfriend Leo. But as Alice begins to get to know her new neighbors, she realizes that everyone has been keeping a secret from her including Leo- the house they have just moved into was the scene of a woman’s murder and hence the reason for the very reasonable market price on the property. Nina who was murdered was a therapist who was supposedly murdered by her husband. Alice begins digging for answers and what she finds is that some don’t necessarily believe that the husband Oliver really murdered Nina and that maybe the killer is still out there. But the new neighbors don’t want to talk about it. And then a private investigator shows up at her door looking for clues into the murder and Alice is drawn into the investigation even further. Meanwhile Alice hears noises and wakes up in the middle of the night to the feeling of someone being in the house while she’s sleeping, when Leo is away. The twists continue throughout the book making you turn the pages faster and faster! Short chapters, delicious writing, and mysterious intrigue that drew me in until I stayed up into the night to finish up reading to find out how this book would end! Another great read by B.A.Paris!
