The trigger warnings are enemy combatants, POW, torture, remembered physical child abuse, explicit language, explicit sexual scenes, explicit warfare scenes, MFM sexual scene.
As soon as I opened Saving Him. I saw the dedication page. I am in love with the dedication given to all who serve our country. I liked how the Alpha team members are listed along with the SEAL Team Glossary. This way if you are not familiar with military slang or for this seal slang then this will help you understand while you are reading. You can tell early as chapter two that Brock and Adam are protective of one another. I cannot imagine what our men and women go through while serving our country but if Adams story is just partially the truth then I would be scared poopless for the entire time. Brock is so sweet, he had such a hard life. The choice between love of your life or your dream. That is so hard. I was ecstatic to read that their teammates knew and understood the relationship Adam and Brock have. I love how the team's relationship even spread to the family members of team Alpha. Everyone needs someone in their corner that is willing to sacrifice it all to help when it is needed the most.
Overall, this book was really good. I wasn’t sure if I would read through it i took extra time to take breaks if I needed. The end result is I did NOT. I recommended this for anyone of the age 18. This is MM, MMF, Bi-awakening and more.
