The news reported it as a flu epidemic, but it's much worse. They were lucky to escape with their lives. 

Now, they live in fear, hunted and hidden, trying to stay alive.

The infected are more than just fast, rage-filled once-human creatures; as they evolve, they have many different ways to seek out survivors, leaving the sisters to question how much longer they can remain hidden from these perfect predators.
