Save Her Family: An unputdownable and totally gripping crime thriller (Nikki Hunt)

I have loved all of the Nikki Hunt books so far, so I was excited that Book 11 was coming out.
Nikki is a fiery character who will not stop until she has the ‘bad guy,’ but this time it is personal as her daughter Lacey witnessed the murder of Elle outside her home, and Nikki is worried about Lacey.

I enjoyed Save Her Family a lot. I had guessed who the culprit was early on, but second-guessed myself several times, then locked on to this certain person. Even though I did guess who it was, it did not deter me, and it was an intense read, especially the ‘showdown’ at the end.

One thing that did bother me was that there was so much emphasis on the heat; it was mentioned many times throughout the book. This did annoy me a bit because it was every few pages.

Overall, it was a good book that kept me interested from the beginning until the end.
