Furies of Calderon (Codex Alera)

I FINALLY got around to reading this (it's been sitting on my shelf for about 18 months). It's hard to detach Butcher from Dresden Files which is probably why I had trouble getting into this book for a while. But I finally felt in the mood for it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Fast action, great characters and suspense enough to keep me reading. Another interesting thing is that this feels very little like The Dresden Files save for some quippy lines here and there. I'm curious to read more now!
