I love the retro romance. This is a baseball & softball. It continues the story from book one.

⚠️Spoiler Alert

I want to say as soon as Jenica starts talking about her past with softball you could feel the m how personal it was to DM. You feel all the emotions, the heartache, the dreams coming to an end. This idea not the only time you feel all the emotions out into the book but to me this was the moment everything stood out.

The trauma they have already went through to the trauma Jenica has to go through again for the ones she loves. There is so much packed into this novel.

At the end: there is a hint to book there at least that is what I’m thinking.
